My Story

I LIVED IT.
I MASTERED IT.
NOW I TEACH IT.

I rebuilt my weight‑loss approach through structure and science — and refined it through what I proved works in real life.

My Journey

The Full Journey. 360 lbs to 190 lbs.

What it took — and what I learned along the way.

Brian Lee — The Diet Rebel today
Today — 190 lbs.
Pre–2020

Obese. Professional yo-yo dieter.

  • Years of trying. Programs, plans, diets.
  • Some worked temporarily.
  • None of them lasted.
2020

Lost 120 lbs.

  • Real progress.
  • But built on compliance, not a system.
  • No structure to protect it when life got hard.
2021–2023

Regained 80 lbs.

  • Didn't track, didn't measure.
  • The hardest part wasn't the weight.
  • It was knowing I'd done it before and couldn't hold it.
2023–2025

Got certified. Built the knowledge base.

  • Certified Personal Trainer
  • Weight Loss Specialist
  • Nutrition and Coaching Certified
  • Transformation Specialist
  • Not for credentials — for depth.
January 2024

Restarted at 360 lbs — this time with a system.

  • Same person. Different approach.
  • You can't adjust what you don't measure.
  • This time, I measured everything.
July 2025

Lost 170 lbs — fat loss and muscle building.

  • Not just weight loss. Body recomposition.
  • The system worked.
  • Because it was built around real life.
Today

6'2", 190 lbs.

  • Strong. Healthy.
  • Teaching others.
  • The system I built is what I teach.

My Story · Chapter 01

WHY WEIGHT LOSS FEELS SO HARD.

Trying hard, doing everything right, and still feeling stuck — not because you’re broken, but because nothing you tried was built to last.

Chapter 01

I Know How This Feels.

I've lived every version of this struggle. But now, my weight is predictable.

No more guessing. Yours can be too.

To try everything and still feel stuck. To lose weight, gain it back, and quietly wonder what you're doing wrong. To think you're the problem — when really, you just never had a system.

At one time, I was 200+ pounds heavier than I am today. The setbacks weren't just physical. The weight of them was emotional.

What changed wasn't motivation. It was clarity — and a consistent way to act on it. Once I understood what actually drives fat loss, everything became clear.

People don't fail at fat loss because they're weak. They fail because no one ever taught them how fat loss works — clearly, practically, without shame.

200+ HEAVIER THAN TODAY.

I guaranteed myself weight loss. That’s when everything changed—in the best possible way.

My Story · Chapter 02

THE FIRST STEPS CAN FEEL UNCERTAIN.

I spent years chasing motivation and willpower. Real change began when I built a system that didn’t require either.

Taking First Steps — The Diet Rebel
Before the system: 360 lbs. January 2024.
Chapter 02

Taking First Steps.

The path forward doesn’t require perfection — it requires progress.

You don't need to be perfect from day one. You need a system that keeps working even when times are tough — one day at a time, building momentum until the process becomes second nature.

I teach fat loss built on predictability — not guessing, not perfection.

Most people don’t struggle because they’re lazy. They struggle because nobody ever taught them what realistic progress looks like.

I know. I was one of them.

Yes, first steps can feel uncertain, KEEP TAKING THEM ANYWAY.

I stopped trying to stay motivated all the time.

I started building a repeatable system.

My Story · Chapter 03

FAT LOSS IS A GAME OF MISSES.

Progress comes from correction — not starting over, not chasing perfect days, but learning how to adjust and keep moving.

Chapter 03

Game of Misses.

You're going to miss shots. You're going to have off days.

The difference is what you learn, what you adjust, and what you do next.

When I slice a shot or hook it, I don't guess why.

I have a coach to tell me why.

Every miss is data.

A good golfer doesn't quit after a bad round. They review the tape, adjust the grip, and show up again. Fat loss works the same way — the setback isn't the story. What you do with it is.

I coach fat loss based on direct and empathetic feedback and correction — not guessing. As a coach I can’t do the work for you — but I will do everything I can to make sure you’re doing the right work, in the right direction, with the right adjustments.

Fat loss isn't a mystery. It's math — I teach it.

You don't need more shame. You need better feedback.

See It Understand what actually happened.
Correct It Adjust without overreacting.
Keep Playing No quitting. No starting over.

I didn't just lose the weight.I finally understood why I'd been failing.

A NOTE OF GRATITUDE.

No one handed me a system that worked. I built it through years of misses, adjustments, and learning what actually lasts.

Brian and Nancy Lee — A Note of Gratitude
NANCY & BRIAN.
Chapter 04

I Didn't Do This Alone.

And I’m deeply grateful for that.

  • My wife, Nancy.
She supported me with love and encouragement through every step of this journey.
  • The laughter and the joy.
We didn't turn it into something miserable. Together, we made it fun. That matters more than most people realize.
  • But here's the reality:
You don't need a perfect support system to succeed. You just need a system that works.
To Nancy —

Thank you for standing with me, for believing in me.

I love you. — Brian
